Avoda is a nonprofit organization registered in Thailand, dedicated to helping and developing children and youth who need opportunities to learn and grow.

We believe that every child has the right to learn about God and to develop the essential life skills necessary for a bright future.

Our Core Values

Faith and Worship: Avoda means both "to work" and "to worship" in Hebrew. We believe that our daily work is an act of worship to God Almighty. Helping those in need reflects our faith and devotion to God, the Creator of all people.

We focus our work on 4 main areas, which align with Biblical teachings and our mission:

1. Emergency Nutritional Food Aid

"For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in." (Matthew 25:35:)

2. Educational Support for Children and Youth

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).

We are committed to providing quality education for children and youth, preparing them for their future lives by focusing on developing the knowledge and skills they need.

3. Legal Services and Assistance

"The Lord upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry" (Psalm 146:7).

We offer legal services to help those who need to protect their rights, especially vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.

4. Training Programs to Improve Quality of Life

"We have different gifts, but the same Spirit" (Romans 12:4-5).

We organize programs and activities to develop life skills and improve the quality of life for children and youth, focusing on creating quality leaders for the future.

We focus on vulnerable groups who urgently need help, including children and youth, migrants, and ethnic groups along the Thai-Myanmar and Thai-Lao borders, as well as women and the elderly who have been affected by war and need support.

Avoda's projects are run by a team made up of individuals who have previously received assistance themselves, allowing us to truly understand the needs of those we serve. Our work began in 1991 and has grown into a professional organization today.

We hope that our efforts will be part of bringing new opportunities into the lives of children and the underprivileged, transforming futures, and empowering everyone to realize their full potential in Christ.
