THE PROJECT
OVER 1,000
CHILDREN & TEENS HAVE BEEN
POSITIVELY IMPACTED
BY THE SMALL BUSINESS PROJECT

THE PROJECT
The Avoda Team rescues children who are in danger of human trafficking. These children receive protection, counsel, and training.
The goal is that these kids will operate independently their small businesses and help families and other fellow villagers.
Because due to policies to contain the Covid-19 pandemic in Thailand, many small businesses close, and millions are left unemployed. Avoda wants to help by helping small businesses to create turnkey businesses in a franchise format.
A pilot project in Bangkok operates since 2020, and upcountry projects are due in 2022.
THE HARD TRUTH
Because of the seemingly hopeless situation, suicide is rising in alarming numbers.
Fear and confusion paralyze the young generation.
The majority of young people don't share their despair, and they chose to suffer in silence.
With the right coaching and mentoring, the young generation can adjust to the new work environment and start and operate a small business. The pilot project in Bangkok bears promising results. Enthusiastic teens and young adults are learning and hardworking to support themselves and their families in rural areas.
The success of these pioneers drives the Avoda Foundation to expand the scope of the small business generating project.
