Every training is the first step to inspire dreams and build a secure future for refugees.

Refugees and nurse assistants in training are trapped in cycles of hardship and despair. They lack opportunities for education and skill development.

Your support can be a shining light of hope that guides them toward stability and dignity.

Let’s work together to create opportunities for these lives and build a brighter future because our compassion and effort are valuable in transforming their lives for the better.

Nurse Assistants Training: Give Refugees a Path to Dignity and Stability: Support Nurse Assistant Training for a Future in Elderly Care!

The Nurse Assistant Certification Program offers Burmese refugees a unique opportunity to gain a respected and stable career in Thailand’s elderly care industry. The program addresses an urgent need in Thai society, where an aging population requires skilled workers to provide care for the elderly. The Thai government has opened this sector to foreign workers, including Burmese refugees, offering them a rare opportunity for legal and well-paying employment.

Avoda’s Nurse Assistant Training School, which will open in 2027 in Tak Province, will provide refugees with comprehensive training in elderly care. The curriculum includes:

• Nurse Assistant Certification: Recognized by the Thai government, this certification qualifies refugees to work in elderly care facilities across the country.

• Language and Skills Development: The training is conducted in Thai,

with an emphasis on language proficiency and understanding the culture of care.

Additionally, students will learn basic English to improve their communication skills.

• Biblical Counseling: As part of Avoda’s holistic approach, students will also receive biblical counseling, fostering compassion and integrity as they provide care.

The program lasts for six months, during which students receive mentorship, accommodation, and board. After completing the program, graduates are equipped with the skills and certification necessary to secure employment in a respected field with high demand and competitive wages.
